On marketing and an idea called "the sales fund" part of a larger series from Jacksons personal documents. 8/5/17:
SALES fund. SOme money saved in taxes goes into sales fund that can be used to train sales people or kids how to sell and uses actual products that are craeted by or endorsed by individuals or companies. Sales people make money gathering donations for the sales fund. Have website devoted to sales fund where you can get discounts provided by subsidy from fund but you have to spend time with salespeople who might be youths or learning disorder or out of jail or trainees with companies that pay rates subsidized by sales fund. Like a capitalist training model.
Look at currency traded in conversation if someone is a very good conversationalist they get nods from peers and become leaders. Also look at how its more complicated in a web of social value that is derived non monetarily from human politics that can be bery profitable and destructive. How a persons hobbys are more tied up in social value even though everything is really synergistic in terms of momentum. Hobbies can rely on the sales fund. The sales fund blends in social value with monetary value. How ads are more an elegant study than just flashing in your face deals that piss people off. People can use social value to host real ads in publications. Say you are rebuilding your deck. It can be socially urged that people call for ad placements and other spnsorships and alliances to do hobbys. Like if I want new windows I can get the funds through networking through the sales fund. Or if people join a dance class they can publish a one time edition magazine of theyre dancing and a set of media pieces which can be something other than just a fb video with 100 likes, and can use partnerships with various companies seeking publicity and willing to pay for the circulation of the e mag, or brochure. .
When you walk into a bar and start talking 15 people can hear you. If you have average friends and you post on fb (really considering haveing the insight of having used ad metrics and seeing how all your friends dont see your post by a longshot) you reach a value as well. The amount of people you could reach is actually much higher if you look at the full scope of the data available and correlate it properly. If I want to do a project, it doesnt have to be just a one time thing and thats it. Projects could be easy cheaper have more quality and help more people if the information of say, a guy who wants to build a shed sends out the info that hes building a shed and a guy who builds sheds for money who wants to make an ad video for his rag tag business devotes 3 hours to instructional and ad related content that is a fun social setting, develops community ties, and points the guy who wants to build the shed in the right direction by having him simply search for the term and immediately be connected to joe shed builder who is ready to help out. You could even have tax breaks for engaging in better and faster communication of data in the program which also is heavily dependant on and promotional of community service.
The bottom line is that marketing VP’s and directors and managers and interns are at the company for one thing, to advertise and of course companies are all very advocative of community engagement, yet it is against popular norms for everyday people to cold call business for money. This bias comes from the fact that the transmission of data by spamming and calling on people is perceived as bad because the people who are contacted dont feel the interaction was reciprocal, mainly because it always seems to be a product they dont want that is marketed to them.. A simple understanding of myown project proposal for example, will tell you its not strictly monetary but has a different direction, one that is not going to be for the most part understood by recipients, because they glance over probably hundreds of spam messages and ad content throughout their day and categories my content with the mass spam content, so I get boxed in with ads that are kindof taking advantage of the recipient, and fermenting distrust in the ad medium. Think of bad money chasing out good money. SO Then I get shafted when I send out an inncocent proposal that I worked on for 10 years. its like me sending out two hundred personalized emails to presidents and executives about my project was actually seen by them for the most part as a mass market operation of something that was not to be valued by them.
Look also at how the superbowl and movie trailers are very very concentrated work and lots and lots of manpower put into making the thing enjoyable and fruitful to view. If you have many more people working on the actual projects your going to have a better experience living through the media. Say a company wants to do an ad and you have half the half US enrolled in the ad acting program through the sales fund and you put out a call because they want the ad right now or at least rough drafts. They send out the request and 200 people want to do the ad right now and are ready to act. you send out a quiz and the first 8 people who finish are actually selected based on an alorithm that has multiple variables. The ad is shot via webcam and backgrounds are added digitally. You have a person in the limelight in an ad, so they are going to work harder on their personal health and fitness, and be socially expected to be engaged, and derive much life fulfilment from being involved with a program which isnt mandatory but that is by defintion a good thing to do and shows social awareness and the motivation to be a part of a larger picture that makes a community and society succesful.
More specialized and social oriented learning blips in the ad space is going to act as a more cohesive connector of people and information. People dont trust a lot of ad channels, but the ones they do they value like super bowl ads and movie trailers in the theater, they thoroughly enjoy and are loyal to.
Also look at the value added benefits of making money by sales, I went into the starbucks and there were bunches of people huddled together having a great time and enjoying life. Little old me was sitting in the starbucks doing lead generation for ad sales. I am lacking the social rewards of being a part of my local community, but if I make a sale based on my salesman ship, I am part of a different social reciprocity system that is very valuable and based on monetary value, which is a store of wealth as well.
Go into a business to business call center and you will notice it is pretty quiet, but it definitely gets exciting when you get a sale, and getting a sale is good for the economy, because you have connected a person or business to something they want, and everybody knows teamwork is essential to building a well oiled machine like the US economy.
